The masterpiece
The gardens are the masterpiece of this property: the villa is completely surrounded by a luxuriant, vigorous exotic garden (palms, cycas, camellias, banksia roses, yuccas, agaves, aloe and succulents). During the warmer months events can be held in the garden itself, set with tables, sofas and lighting to make every moment magical. The driveway, lined with exuberant Washington palms, gives the first welcome to Villa Silvana and leads you to the stone-paved patio in front of the house: only past the lush vegetation does the façade of the villa appear.
The Port of Sorrento
Villa Silvana has its own landing point in the characteristic Port of Sorrento, reached directly from the villa by a magical pathway clinging to the cliffside: steps leading from one panoramic terrace to another amongst lemon trees, pines, vines and figs. The way down to the sea is enchanting, the ideal setting for unforgettable photos, and a strategic point to admire the Gulf of Sorrento and Vesuvius, the true protagonist of the view.
